Jim Etheridge Retirement Announcement

Flavor & Fragrance Specialties announces the retirement of Jim Etheridge. Jim has been an integral member of FFS for 14 years. Jim came to FFS with a broad industry background. He was initially trained as a food flavorist by McCormick and Company. After spending 10 years at McCormick, Jim moved onto Philip Morris where he was trained as a tobacco flavorist. During his time with Philip Morris, Jim traveled the world and developed many successful products for them. After 10 years with Philip Morris, Jim joined Tobacco Technology. He spent 5 years there as a tobacco flavorist and head of R&D.

In 1993 Jim brought his 25 years of industry expertise to Flavor & Fragrance Specialties. Over the past 14 years with FFS, Jim’s responsibilities have been vast. In addition, Jim was responsible for the successful training of a number of Flavor Chemists in both the tobacco and non tobacco arenas. Jim’s training, knowledge and professional work ethic helped to contribute to the growth and success of Flavor & Fragrance Specialties.

We wish Jim well in all of his futures endeavors. He will be greatly missed.
